Important Coronavirus Update
A New Standard in Patient Care
We want to first thank all of our wonderful patients for the continued support of our small business the past few months. We continue to implement and follow stringent safety protocols and remain committed to keeping our patients, staff and community in good health.
PROTECTION
- All patients and visitors, except those under the age of five (per the CDC), will be required to wear a face covering for the entirety of time spent in the office. If you do not have one, you will be given a mask upon entry.
- Staff will wear masks and wash hands for at least 20 seconds throughout the day.
- Extra disinfecting and sanitizing will be performed before and after every patient.
WHAT TO DO PRIOR TO YOUR APPOINTMENT
To minimize the number of people in the practice we ask that only the patient or guardian being seen enter the building. As always, if you are not feeling well or running a fever, please call to rearrange your visit for another day.
WHAT TO EXPECT UPON ARRIVAL AT THE OFFICE
Upon arriving at our office, call (316) 337-5500 to check in. Please stay in your vehicle until you are contacted to enter. Patients and visitors should be wearing their own mask or one will be provided.
WHAT TO EXPECT DURING YOUR VISIT
We will check your temperature before beginning your appointment and ask a few screening questions. All equipment or tools used throughout office including the pre-testing process and while in the exam room will be disinfected between every patient encounter. When picking out glasses we will ask you to put the ones you tried on into a designated basket for sanitizing.
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN PICKING UP EYEWEAR
Contacts and glasses can be picked up curb-side. If you would like to come for adjustments or sit down with one of our opticians please call our office to schedule an appointment.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to keep our office a safe space for everyone.
